Peristaltic pumps use rotating rollers pressed against special flexibletubing to create a pressurized flow. The tube is compressed at a number of points in contact with rollers. Seals and valves are not needed as in other pumps. Peristaltic pumps are bi-directional allowing suck back control after discharge to prevent dripping of the liquid.
